Cleusa Costa

Senior Pastor

Welcome to Mil Church.
We are very happy to have you with us.
We are a church like family that have as north the Bible and as goal Christ, focusing a relationship of intimacy with God Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We understand that we reach this trough the moments of worship, praying, study and the development of the gifts. We desire that this church could be a good land so you could be well planted and well motivated to have a stronger relationship with God.
The intention of this church is that you could be confronted by the happiness of living a real encounter with Christ, that so loves us to the point of giving His self in our favor.

What we believe

The scriptures are inspired by God

The Holy Scriptures, composed by the Old and New Testaments, are completely inspired by God infallible in your original composition and completely worthy of trust in every area, being the final and supreme authority about faith and conduct (2 Tm 3.14-17).

One and only God

There is one eternal, powerful and perfect God, distinct in his trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit(Dt 6.4; Mt 28.19; Mc 12.29).

Jesus is unique

Jesus Christ was born of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, being true God and true man and the only mediator between God and man. He alone was perfect in nature, teaching, and obedience.(Is 7.14; Rm 8.34; At 1.9).

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the regenerator and sanctifier of the redeemed, the giver of the gifts and spiritual fruits, the permanent Comforter and Master of the Church(Rm 3.23; At 3.19).

Adam the first man

In Adam mankind was created in the image and likeness of God. Due to the fall of Adam, mankind has become radically corrupt and estranged from God. What is essential for man is the restoration of his communion with God, which man is incapable of operating by himself.

Necessary is to born againg

In the absolute necessity of the new birth by faith in Christ and by the active power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, to take man worthy of the kingdom of the heavens(Jo 3.3-8).

Forgiveness of the sins

In the forgiveness of sins, eternal salvation by grace and justification by faith.

The baptism in the waters

In biblical baptism effected by immersion of the whole body once in waters in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, as the Lord Jesus Christ determined,(Mt 28.19; Rm 6.1-6; CI 2.12).

The Baptism in the Spirit

In the biblical baptism with the Holy Spirit which is given to us by God through the intercession of Christ, who has as one of the evidences the speaking in other languages according to his will, (At 1.5; 2.4; 10.44-46; 19.1-7).

In the actuality of the spiritual gifts distributed by the Holy Spirit to the Church for its edification, according to His sovereign will, (1 Co 12.11).

Power to heal

In the power of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to Heal, Liberate, heal spiritually, physically and morally man.

The church as body and bride

The Christian Church is the body and bride of Christ, consecrated to the worship and service of God through the faithful proclamation of the Word, the practice of good works and the observance of the Baptism and the Lord's Supper;

Our mission of teach the world

The task of the Church is to teach all nations, making the Gospel bear fruit in every aspect of life and thought. The supreme mission of the Church is the salvation of souls. God transforms human nature, becoming this, then, the means for the redemption of society.

Christ's resurrection

Jesus Christ has risen physically from the dead, ascended to the heavens and will return at the end of the age to judge men;

The second come

At the second premillennial coming of Christ, in two distinct phases. First - invisible to the world to snatch his faithful Church from the earth, before the great tribulation. Second - visible and bodily, with its glorified Church, to reign over the world for a thousand years, (1 Ts 4.16,17; 1 Co 15.51-54; Ap 20.4; Zc 14.5; Jd 14).

That all Christians will stand before the judgment seat of Christ to receive the reward for their deeds for the cause of Christ on earth, or will enter into apprenticeship in the millennial period. (2 Co 5.10).

In the coming judgment God will confirm the faithful, and they will have an eternal life of joy and happiness (Ap 20.11-15).

Eternal punishment

Eternal punishment, including separation and loss of fellowship with God, is the final destination of the unregenerate man and of Satan with all his angels (Mt 25.46).
